A basic room, good air con, comfortable bed. I just need a one night re break in road trip. Good location.
It was a typical pub, tea/coffee was the only amenities

Need full renovation & thorough cleaning. No basic facilities provided eg no side table lamp, no rubbish bin in the room, no electric kettle, no drinking water, no cup, no hand towel. Plus wall & ceiling are broken & chipped, & springled with debris, all windows could not be open & caked with dirt. The whole hotel is smelly. This is the worse hotel I have ever stayed in Australia and every other places I stayed around the world. The hotel should be graded as minus 3 stars It was a misleading & wrong grade in the tourist accommodation rate. Very disappointing & felt we were in a dirty filthy cell. Even you the hotel pay me to stay, I wouldn't want to enter this hotel.

View from room was a wall a few feet away. You had to lean out the window and look up to see a bit of sky. Only 'accessible' power point was in the bathroom, but to charge your phone you had to stack your luggage up to the right height to rest your phone on it for the cord to reach it. There were 2 more power points but they were up near the ceiling!?!
Large bathroom but no table or anywhere to put yr clothes or towels. No air con. No doors on wardrobe and no hangers. Large area on wall near toilet where paint had peeled off. Very claustrophobic room. Ohhh! And no door knob on our door. We had to stick our finger where it had been and pull the door shut. The lift stunk and that brought you straight into the communal kitchen which only had a bar size fridge... to share with all the other guests because there weren't any fridges in the rooms.
The plus is that it is in a wonderful location and the bar staff and bars were great.

The room I had needed a repaint, the paint is crumbling off the walls. The furniture and bathroom were pretty old but functional. No big deal but the tv in the lounge area didn't work the one in the bedroom did. The parking is limited, I had to park a few blocks away.

Elevator available afternoon at check in but not available for checkout next morning. Had to drag luggage down stairs.
Other occupants slammed doors most of the night and then early next morning.
