Exceptional, rare, a timeless place.

Magnificent traditional Bulgarian house, typical decor and very welcoming owners. Around ten rooms at a very attractive price mean that a reservation may be necessary.
A small craft shop is at the entrance and offers a few small things made by local artists.
When you close the door to the street, you enter a fairy tale. Monastic calm is there. This timeless break ensures you guaranteed rest.
A unique decor. The table d'hôtes is of a very good standard. Menu made with local products, to concoct regional dishes. Simple but attractive, this table continues to take you on a journey.
The property has a sauna and offers a massage service.
The garden is a haven of peace, well maintained, magnificent. The hammocks provided are the reward for the journey taken to spend this excellent time.
Nice, well-reasoned breakfast that doesn't ring with the waste.
Congratulations to the whole team of this little nugget.

The best place in this area

The place looks absolutely the same as in the pictures. The rooms are clean and cosy, there was nothing that we were missing and the staff is extremely nice to the guests. The food is really delicious. We would definitely stay there again if we travel in this area.

The best place to stay near Shumen

One of the best places that I and my family have ever been. Highly recomend if you have to stay somewhere around Shumen or you need a relaxing weekend in quiet and lovely place. The hosts are very kind, the level of attention to every detail in the house and the rooms is just astonishing. The food was very delicious and we had a great time there.

A small oasis for relaxation

Close to Shumen there is this lovely little village surrounded by bizarre rocks with rocky monasteries and in the center of this oasis of several guest houses, a lovely courtyard and a tavern where you can escape for a bit of the busy everyday life and rest in silence.The hosts are extremely kind. You can stay for two - or simply sit for a homemade dish on the road.

A Hidden Gem in a Small Bulgarian Village

This is a place you will surely want to return to. Located in a small Bulgarian village, this gem is worthy of a five star resort rating. The owner Teo is so accommodating and speaks perfect English. We asked Teo about wine tasting in the area and he said it was too late in the day so he set up a private tasting for us on the patio on a perfect fall afternoon. The room had so many little touches that made you feel welcome and comfortable. The rooms and inn are built in the traditional Bulgarian architecture and the grounds are full of flowers, sitting areas, and an amazing outdoor patio to sip wine, eat dinner, or just relax. The dinner was one of the best we had in two weeks of traveling the country. If you want to get away from the big city and enjoy the best of what Bulgaria has to offer, you have to stay here. Great walk down a country road to the Rock Monastery is a must. You'll pass wild apple trees, grapes, and springs with the purest water you can find. Can't wait to return.... a real memorable experience. We wish we could have stayed longer!
