Another good Sheraton experience.

Another well run Sheraton hotel. I booked 4 rooms for 2 nights for my family. The other 3 had no problem, but my room has airconditioning issues that makes my stay a little uncomfortable. Lounge evening reception was good. But no breakfast there.

Fab modern hotel in easy reach of Beijing Fengtai train station. Very spacious, modern, high spec rooms. Helpful staff, nice hotel lobby bar with excellent coffee. We ate at one of the restaurants ‘Yuze’ which was very good. Would highly recommend if using Beijing Fengtai station!

Fantastic concierge team

The hotel is clean, well organised, staff are attentive and professional, and the hotel is in a new commercial area. The concierge team were fantastic as I was unable to download the WeChat app so was unable to pay for taxis. They booked the taxi on their app and I paid them by cash each day I required a taxi. The international breakfast buffet is not at a level in terms of selection you get in other SE Asia countries, but plenty to satisfy most people. The bar area is located in the large ground floor reception and often closed down well before the advertised closing time. My recommendation would be to move the bar across into the more secluded area on the left thus creating its own area that feels away from the open lobby area. The rooms are clean and well laid out, My room came with complimentary snakes and drinks which was a nice touch. Although the welcome note explaining the items were free was in Chinese only ! The gym and pool area is well maintained and enough equipment to keep the fitness levels up. Overall I would recommend this hotel if your planning meetings in this area of Beijing.

I stayed 2 nights and was satisfied with the hotel. All staffs were very kind and the room was comfortable.
And the hotel is not far from Caoqiao Station where you can use the Express train to Beijing Daxing Airport.

Poor housekeeping and hotel management

This is a candid review from a regular guest for business stays, who have stayed here for both short and long stays , with length of stay up to 1 month. (I have stayed here for an accumulated 180 days length of stay and thus became a Gold Marriott Bonvoy member). I truly wonder if this hotel’s service quality is up to the brand standard, compared with my previous stay experiences in other Sheraton hotels (chengdu, dongguan and Seoul).
Staying a few days here is fair, but my recent long stay here was very disappointing and annoying.
First of all, the housekeeping service was far from satisfaction. The room was not very clean, hair could be found on the bed and in the bathroom. When all my toothpaste was used up, housekeeping still did not refill it. Once I took away the pen and notepads for meetings, they didn’t refill either. On the other hand, I understood they have an environmental policy for cleaning linens, but how come they could leave the towels and bedsheets uncleaned for two weeks. And,
the most irritating incident was I found a hole on my trousers after laundry services. The hotel claimed that my trousers had that hole before cleaning—if so, as an international business hotel, they should have informed me before cleaning, while the most humiliating thing was they tried to make me a liar, as if I intended to get some benefits from the hotel with a pair of trousers. My complaint was not properly handled till the day I checked out and I could not see why the hotel management could treat a loyalty guest like this. Coincidentally, I could not receive the post-stay guest survey after checkout. (Not the first time though)
Another interesting thing was the lobby lounge. My business partners and I went to the bar after work, and we could hardly order a drink as half of the items on the menu were unavailable. And the lounge would close 15 minutes earlier than its operating hours.
Nevertheless, I appreciated the good maintenance of the fitness room on 19th floor. It would be great if they place some towels at the shower place.
