Fantastic New Year's stay

All through fantastic New Year's stay. Fantastic food, unprecedented service everywhere and a fireworks in a special class. A good balance in the charming warm rooms and smiling staff everywhere. I travel a lot and love good food. Here they focus on the guests, so you can always just relax and enjoy your stay. The spa area is really good. The hotel’s arrangement with winter bathing, champagne, oysters and croissant cake, is a sympathetic gesture to the hotel’s guests and the citizens of Nyborg.
We will definitely return to Hesselet.

Pleasant experience

Nice experience overall. It's a nice place. But we just chose to save 33 percent the last day and jump over on the other side of the road.
The coffee was good. We got a total offer with a gourmet dinner, are glad that we did not buy this separately, as it was not 750 kr. In the package offer we have still paid in the upper edge. The wine prices are just ridiculous.
Infrared sauna was not hot.
I don't understand why you design a toilet door with holes so that there is no sound and air insulation?!

Ask for ocean view.
The interior looks like something from my nan's house.
Large room and comfy beds.
Fine wifi.

Missing 5 stars

Nice 2 day stay. Have been there before and the level is unchanged well. Nice room, beautiful surroundings outside as inside, friendly and welcoming service and very delicious food. Unfortunately, there is no air conditioning. It feels like a July month when the sun shines, where the room gets very hot at night too. This could probably in part be remedied by providing light summer dunes instead of the very heavy (winter) dunes that our room was equipped with. Therefore not 5 stars.

My reception at check-in was great. A pleasant woman upgraded my room to a water view when she learned that it was my first stay at the hotel. My room was clean and spacious. The public spaces are comfortable and well laid out. I enjoyed a fresh cup of coffee in the library that was excellent.
The restaurant appears to be top-notch but the price for dinner was not appropriate for my business trip. My breakfast was outstanding in terms of food quality, variety, service, and atmosphere.
I will return to this hotel the next time I am on Funen.
