Great!

What a great place! So beautifully located and cared for with such taste and love. Hugely enjoyed the hospitality! Relax by the pool a dip in the river and enjoy Shopping in the nearby village of Tournus. Basically everything we wish for.

The stay is a wonderful experience!

We stayed in one of the stylish authentically furnished rooms at the Chåteau and imagined ourselves in another world. The tranquility, both inside and out, the beautiful surroundings with the unique saltwater pool in the garden, the delicious breakfast (beautiful crockery!) combined with the warm welcome of the host makes the stay at Chåteau de Prety an absolute must. Merci pour votre accueil chaleureux dans votre beau château. Nous reviendrons certainement!

To flee at all Awards! Are not professional and unpleasant!

False advertising!!! To flee!!! Deplorable and gloomy welcome, cleanliness leaves something to be desired and the smell of the rooms testifies to a clear lack of hygiene. As a former hotelier, I must warn travelers not to come to this place. In addition, access to the spa, although offered in the Reservation Announcement, is inaccessible, without an ounce of excuse or questioning, despite the evidence provided. When we asked for a refund of our Reservation, we were verbally assaulted by the property owner who replied “you know where you can put them*. As a result, we chose to lose our €139 and move to another Pension in Tournus, which is cheaper and much more pleasant, run by HORECA professionals.

Arriving late and welcomed with great kindness, we spent an unforgettable evening
Hats off to the owner for maintaining such an estate and offering such a great service
Our little girl loved the fireworks on the castle terrace. MAGIC
We will come back with pleasure.

Stop on way to south of France

This hotel was our second choise in Tounus as all 4star hotels were fully booked.
No comparison to charming internet pictures and positive comments on Tripadvisor. This Chateau hotel should be urgently renovated or closed down.
Everything, park, interior and exterior completely worn out. Electrical installation not according to safety rules, shower not working properly, dirty carpet, etc.
Felt sorry for the kind old owner who did obviously not have the financial means nor professional support to run the place properly.
No respect for the covid rules with not even the owner wearing a mask.
Due to many steps, especially 2'nd floor, not recommended for older and disabled people, this was not mentioned on the "Booking" site. Had a look in the kitchen which was enough not to take any meals.

Maybe a confusion with another place. We have a maison d'hôte, it's not a hotel ****. The chateau is completely renovated, but not modernised. If there is anything not convenient we have all the support to improve it immediately. We don't have a restaurant, but sometimes we prepare "table d 'hote" in according to special demands of our guests.
We will do maximum effort to satisfy clients who are looking for a non conventional place with an authentic character.
