Lovely experience with excellent service in heart of the city

Just a 5 minute walk from shopping centre and the old town square hotel Franziska was a lovely experience. The girl manning the reception and breakfast went out of her way to provide us with everything we could possibly need with a smile on her face. Basic room but clean and comfy beds. Really good scrambled eggs. Underground parking space underneath the hotel.

Danube Cycle

We stayed here on our Danube cycling holiday and you cycle down a road that has a number of derelict buildings once you leave the won centre to get to it, which is a bit off putting. When you get inside the hotel the reception and restaurant look really good quality, and I'm sure the food in the restaurant would be very good. The breakfast was good. The corridors and rooms of the hotel however feel like they need some work doing on them. The rooms feel more like student rooms and the hotel is more basic than you would expect for the money, and its doesn't reflect the price as you walk down the corridors. Good storage for the bikes, and about a 10 minute walk into town.

Hervoragender Service Freundlichkeit wird sehr groß geschrieben

Das essen Hervorragend Gemütlich für ein Dinner für zwei Personen perfekt sehr schön dekortiert Preisleistungsverhältniss stimmt auch sehr sauber jeder Zeit gerne ich Feiere jedes jahr unseren Hochzeitstag dort mit meiner Frau

Excellente étape

Accueil particulièrement sympathique, et cuisine excellente, produits frais et beaucoup de recherche pour un résultat très réussi. Nous avons passé une excellente soirée, en profitant de la terrasse, très agréable.
Une adresse que l'on vous recommande sans hésiter.

Unter den Erwartungen

Wir waren mit einer Gruppe dort essen und waren sehr enttäuscht. Das Ambiente hat enttäuscht, die Speisen waren leider durchwegs entweder falsch gewürzt oder beim Fleisch wurde der garpunkt nicht getroffen. Sehr schade, haben uns sehr gefreut dort zu essen, versuchen es nochmal da wir Bisher nur gutes gehört haben aber es gibt sicherlich deutlich bessere Alternativen essen zu gehen in straubing.

Unser Restaurant wird von meiner Frau liebevoll gestaltet, dass dies nicht jedermanns Geschmack ist, ist uns bewusst.
