Great budget stay property close to Beach and Mahabalipuram attractions

Located close to the beach and the beach side restaurants and a 10 minute walk away from the shore temple . The property has a parking space. The rooms are Ok in size and the housekeeping standards are good . The AC works efficiently . The staff are polite , attentive and responsive.
All together a good budget stay in Mahabalipuram.

Excellent Rooms - Excellent maintenance

We have booked family room with bunk bed for kids. The room is excellent with basic amenities. historical attractions are in a walkable distance. The reception service is good. Room maintenance is very good. One thing to note in mahabalipuram hotels is the check in time is at 2PM.

Would stay again

Does what it says on the tin. Clean, air-conditioned, comfortably furnished, and equipped with a functional television and water heater. The lobby has a nice selection of English, Tamil, French, and German-language travel guides and Mahabalipuram info booklets. Staff is sparse but friendly, and fluent in Tamil and English. Though there are no in-house food offerings, delivery (including from a vegetarian restaurant) is available (the menu was given on request). The back gate is a few metres' walk from the beach, and beside it is a nifty tap to wash off the sand after a walk on the strand. There is also a parking lot that can comfortably hold around five cars, eight or nine in a pinch.
Would recommend, especially to those on a budget. The place isn't too well-known, especially to out-of-station taxi drivers, so you should probably point to the more famous (but much more expensive) Sea Breeze Beach Resort. Oceanside is right outside its gate.

Perfect stay in Mahabalipuram

Very nice and tidy room! The staff is adorable and will do everything to help you during your stay. It’s the perfect place to rest and discover the city, near the touristic places and also very calm.

Stop your Search and book a Superior Room

Me and Wife spent hours searching for a good clean place to stay and this time we did not want to stay at 5 Star hotel. We got frustrated looking at numerous reviews. Then we narrowed down to Oceanside after we read a review asking people to stop searching.
I am so so happy with the room. I booked the room 207 and at arrival i was apprehensive but then after entering the room. I was so assured by seeing the White Clean Sheets (Stain Free) and very very Clean Bathroom and very good slope in the bathing area.
I got all that i was looking for:
- White crisp Bedsheet
- Crisp Pillow Cover
And Spotless Blanket
Wonderful AC and plenty of Hot Water.
For food take a 2 min walk to reach some nice restaurants and again a 3-4 min walk to beach and on return a tap to clean sand off your body and clothes.
The stairs may be a concern for senior citizens. They don't serve food but we had planned to eat outside.
The owner Jaymesh (?) Was available and very helpful. The young man on front desk "Dinesh" is a polite and efficient and the cleaning ladies are sweet. Well spoken .
Cons:
- No Intercom( that's ok)
