The Wow factor!!
On entering through the majestic double doors, we were immediately struck by how fresh and bright the decor was. This is complemented by the stunning views of the river Slaney, and in the upper floor, the 360degree windows give a panoramic view of Enniscorthy. The curtains are remote controlled which is a very nice touch.
The bathroom is lavishly appointed, has a rain shower, huge jacuzzi bath, and set into the mirror is a TV screen. Definitely luxurious, and the Voya toiletries are very pleasant indeed.
As much as we enjoyed the comforts of the Penthouse suite, we had dinner booked in the Alamo restaurant, and looked forward to a drink in the Prom bar where there was music later in the evening.
Elaine and her team in the Alamo were very welcoming, and our meal was perfectly cooked, tasted delicious and was a thoroughly enjoyable experience.
Later we took a table in the Prom bar, and were greeted by the wonderful team who kept our drinks replenished while we enjoyed Stephen Murphy’s entertainment.
The large circular bed in the Penthouse is supremely comfortable and we had a great night’s sleep.
Next morning we had breakfast in the Moorings Restaurant where Kayleigh and her team made us very welcome, and we both enjoyed our breakfast.
As always, all good things come to an end, and check out time approached.
What makes the Riverside Park so special is the wonderful staff, who go out of their way to make everything perfect.
The Penthouse suite was an unexpected surprise, and definitely has the WOW factor. A big thank you to the hotel for this treat.
