Amazing hotel! Just awesome!
The staff was just amazing from when we entered the lobby until we left on our last day. Service is next level! So many staff all happy to serve you and make sure you have the best experience!
The hotel is gorgeous, our room was amazing! So spacious and with everything (and more!) that you’ll need. Fantastic layout! We loved the separate toilet!
The amenities were awesome! Loved the leather yoga mat, beautiful kimono and super soft robes. I used my robe for 30 seconds and hanged it back up - the next day it was replaced! Amazing! The mini-bar, coffee making facilities and all the other special touches such as the range of glasses (wine, whisky etc) and the gorgeous teapot - so many well thought through little touches.
The room and everything in the hotel is super clean, neat and tidy. The decor is beautiful with a calming effect - the lighting just perfect - you just feel like you want to stay longer (wish we did!!)
Loved the free cocktail and canapé hour from 5pm to 6pm! Nice touch!
The only thing I could fault was that CNN & BBC was voiced over in Japanese and not available in English as an alternative. We had a brief moment of English news when we arrived on the first afternoon but that evening and next morning only in Japanese. When I asked about it, I was told that that’s the way it is set up so we can watch in English only during the times they’ve pre-scheduled it for English. Not helpful when you’re out all day and wanting to catch up on what’s happening in the world before going to bed. Every other hotel we stayed at had English CNN & BBC as well as Japanese voice overs available with the click of a button. So you’d think a top end hotel like this would be able to figure it out.
The hotel has free coffee & tea in the Jones lounge from 7am but failed to mention that it is limited to one cup per person as we were charged for our 2nd cup. Felt a bit annoyed as it’s not mentioned when you order the 2nd cup.
Will definitely stay here again! Fantastic hotel!

Our events are always in Kimpton!
As always, it has a nice space and great hospitality, which gives the impression of Kimpton.
Thanks to Alex, the front desk manager, He, the restaurant manager, and everyone else for their warm hospitality.
My family, including my dog, are big fans of Kimpton Hotel Shinjuku. I'll come again.
