Very good hotel!

It was my first time in Aktobe; I chose the hotel solely because of its proximity to the company office.
Like many, we were frightened by the photo in booking. com, who had black hair on the linens in the room, so I went to the hotel with a heavy heart.
And I was right! The hotel is great! Inexpensive, but comfortable, everything fully corresponds to the stated price of the room: do not think that for the economy price they will put you in a palace! The hotel is from Soviet times, but in excellent condition, everything is very clean! During the 5 days I was there, no black hair was noticed.
The linen is snow-white, the towels are clean (they change every day upon request!)
Very polite, courteous staff, open to the wishes of the guests.
The location is ideal - the very center of the city.
The economy room is small, but cozy, has everything you need.
I liked the 7th floor, room 728!
I recommend!

Bad

Dirty rooms, no sink in my room, rooms only cleaned every other day.
Breakfast: good eggs and rice but rest below average.
Rude Receptionist.
Right next to bars and clubs so location is good.
Good price for a regular person.

Stayed here with some friends. Everything was quite old. They kept offering Asian massages and there was no air con. Showered at 2:30am to cool down. It was a rough night for all of us. The facilities were generally manageable though and wifi was good.

Stayed here on business, twice, although i am not sure why i stayed the second time. The hotel is pretty depressing and to be honest i would not recommend staying here at all. Strange things, like staff demanding daily payment for the room, the bizarre token system for breakfast and dinner, and the weird issue of leaving the key with the lady sitting outside the lift. The rooms were very basic, but luckily i only stayed a couple of days each trip. Its a bit of a time warp. The only real bonus is the little beer and kebab shop adjacent to the hotel entrance.

Democratic and affordable

First we stopped at Ilek hotel in Aktobr city, since we terra looking for bed and breakfast type of stay for our short 3-days business trip in Aktobe. Those experience was horrible and we moved to Aktobe hotel which was full because of football game in the city. We were lucky to get last two single rooms. The price of $35 per a clean room per night is reasonable. Staff is friendly, location is good, it's in the center of the city.
