Lovely hotel in a beautiful setting but unable to provide meal services during other events.
Pros:
- spacious bed rooms and bathrooms
- coat hooks (x6)
- ample storage (wardrobe, three chests of drawers, bathroom cabinet, plus an additional three drawers in the desk)
- desk with fridge
- clean
- powerful shower
- staff pleasant and helpful
- delicious food
Rooms are spacious with ample storage (wardrobe, three chests of drawers, plus a cabinet in the shower room.) There is also a desk with an additional three drawers. The fridge is located under the desk below the kettle. I often find with many hotels these days, there is very little storage and no coat hooks, so I was very happy to find hooks on the wall by the door. There are no USB ports, but plenty of wall sockets to put a (European two prong) plug in.
We visited in May 2024 as a family of four, including a toddler and a baby. If you are travelling similarly I would recommend doing what we did and booking two rooms next to each other as there are no rooms with three beds (the toddler was with my husband, and the baby was in with me). This worked well for us. The first night we were able to dine on the terrace. It’s down a flight of stairs from the hotel (or accessible by wheelchair/pushchair by going out through the main hotel entrance and round to the back of the building). Blankets are offered and there are some outdoor heaters available. Sadly on two of the days, the restaurant was closed for functions and no room service was available which meant we had to eat elsewhere. This wasn’t made clear on booking and I’m still unsure why they were unable to prepare a quick meal for residents. It is my understanding that to be a three-star hotel (as this hotel claims) a meal service must be provided. Sadly, this wasn’t the case. Our Polish friend who was staying too enquired himself as well. Had a meal service been available, I’d have definitely given it five stars. Breakfast is served downstairs in the ‘pub’ in the basement. With a pram, this was accessible by lift which the receptionist helped me with as the normal lift buttons only show floors 0 - 2. Floor -1 is via a ‘secret’ button. High chairs are available on request.
Limited English spoken, but between gestures and Google translate we managed.
The hotel grounds a very pretty and well worth walking around. We didn’t make use of any of the other facilities like the tennis courts or sauna.
Cons:
- towel rack VERY high up in bathroom
- no bath (with a baby this wasn’t the easiest, but we managed)
- restaurant and bar closed for a function for two days with no option of room service.

Not English friendly
The night porter would not let us back in on two consecutive nights because we could not speak Polish, We had to telephone our friends to speak with the porter.
I would not recommend visiting unless you are Polish.

Strange room with hard and narrow beds
By the way, if a person is snoring in the next hotel room, or even walking form the room to his bathroom, you will hear everything ;)
