Lovely location, views and hosts

Lovely location on the foot of the Drakensberg mountain. Within 5 minutes to the start of many hikes up the mountain. The house is well equipped and has a great terrace overlooking a garden. The house we were in had two bathrooms and a large kitchen. The hosts are so lovely as well.

Amazing time

This my other home from home.I always experience Holy moments when I am here. The mountains are beautiful and it's refreshing to sit outside and experience the joy of nature. We are treated with respect by the host. I am loving it here.

Emafweni Stay

Set in beautiful surroundings, but accommodation very tired. Not the cleanest place I have visited. We had issues with the mnet and then power cut for 24 hours, so not a pleasant holiday for us at all. If you are used to very basic accommodation, then it would be ok, but I do have higher standards than we experienced. I had thought it would be better due to the price we paid.

Place in the Mist

Emafweni Self Catering Country Cottages was more than wonderful. The Lakeside Cottage was cosy and well equipped; the view from the balcony was fantastic. We were even blessed to watch a Deer grassing in the gardens. Emafweni is situated right at the foothills of Monks Cowl; we enjoyed the hike up to the Sphinx. Thanks Drs Jen and Rita for your hospitality.
