Our new favourite hotel in Johannesburg.
Front desk staff were friendly and efficient and we had assistance to our room with our luggage.
The room itself was very spacious with modern furniture and the bathroom had twin sinks, a large walk-in shower plus bath tub. Everything was very modern and well appointed.
Breakfast was a good buffet style and very good.
We had an issue with our dinner reservation, which I'd made months previously but it turned out that this had not been forwarded to the restaurant, so that was a bit stressful (on Valentine's night) initially but after a few minutes it did get resolved.
We had a 90 minutes couples massage in the spa which was both fabulous and really good value to us UK citizens.
Only disappointment here was the swimming pools. One is in a courtyard setting which is a nice pool but with zero views, the other one is overlooking the golf course but the pool itself was dirty and generally shabby and not at all inviting.
For the price though, this is an excellent choice for Johannesburg and we will definitely be returning.
