It is a convenient inn close to the station, but there are only stairs.

Nearest subway station, Euljiro 4-gae Station on Line 2 - 2 minutes walk (Exit 3)
(Since it is exit 3 staircase, I recommend exit 4 where there is an escalator.
Also, from Seoul station, after exiting the ticket gate of Exit 11 of Bell Road 5, Line 4
You don't have to use the stairs to get out by escalator.
It was within ten minutes' walk.)
It is about 5 minutes from the station to Kwanjang Traditional Market.
The staff were kind.
People with large luggage may struggle because there are only stairs here.
There is no Amenity, no conditioner or rinse.
There is a bathtub but no plug, so you need to take it with you.
Only common refrigerator space, not in the room.
The water had to be served for a couple of minutes depending on the time or it would remain water.

It was basic but it had everything I needed. A bed, toilet, shower. Not much around but just a stones throw from the train. I would definitely stay again

I took a short 1.5 hr nap after checking in, got bitten by bed bugs. After 6:00 pm, no one was there so I had to check out on my own as the bed bug bites were severe.
Up to now, the owner is not taking responsibility in giving me a refund for the 3 nights and 4 days I didn’t get to stay.
Key was dropped off in their container box, they claim they haven’t received it. Incredibly unprofessional and dirty.

My room was a 6/10 in cleanliness but the rest of the guest house was dirty, the halls and stairs cluttered. Safety in question. Price far beyond the quality of the stay and misleading. The staff were kind.

I probably could have done a little more research, but the property is fantastic for what it is. It is essentially a no frills hostel (though you do get your own room with its own bathroom) that is primarily targeted toward students or other visitors with extremely tight budgets. It is self-check in and had no room service options that I was aware of. Any coordination was through a phone located at the "check in desk." It was, however, extremely easy to get checked in, up to the room, and was perfectly comfortable. If you are looking for a cheap place to sleep in a super convenient part of town, this is your place. If you want some of the creature comforts of a standard hotel, this probably isn't your place.
