Very accommodating and Cozy

We had a wonderful time at Chez Epicure with the host family, they were very pleasant and accommodating! Prepared Vegan meals for us with a smile. The place is cozy, quite, clean, authentic and old. We would definitely go back when we need to sleep over in the area.

very friendly

It used to be al hotel for more than 100 years, the the house stood empty for more than a decade.
Now it's a Guest-house , you are in fact guest at the owners family.
The house is operated beside tho owners regular job.

Une table comme bon vieux temps !

C'est avec beaucoup d'émotion que j'ai découvert cette sympathique Maison d'hôtes dans ce qui était autrefois l'Auberge du Cerf au centre de Lignerolle. Une résurrection bienvenue dans ce village qui a perdu ses deux restaurants, sa boulangerie et ses deux épiceries au cours des 30 dernières années. Chez Epicure, l'accueil -à la bonne franquette- est chaleureux. Le repas du soir pris en famille rappelle la cuisine de maman, donc il est bon ! On y fait d'intéressantes rencontres en mangeant. Les chambres sont simples mais les lits confortables. Bravo aux tenanciers qui ont su faire revivre cette auberge de campagne. Mon petit fils Maxime a aimé !
