Great location. Friendly staff. Comfy rooms. Perfect view.
In the quiet winklematten area, a 15 walk into town or the free bus stops right outside the hotel (we always walked, which was nice).
Not having to take a packed bus to the lift in the morning is a major plus. Just walk 3 mins to the ski shop, grab your skis and boots from the locker, and jump on the lift.

Breakfast didn't start until 7:30 and the charge for coffee from the machine outside of breakfast hours seemed unnecessary.

Not worth it - trust someone who’s been here a month

Cons:
This is an apartment, not a hotel. There is no soap. And you are expected to clean the apartment.
You are about a 30 minute walk from town, which is the most beautiful part of Zermatt.
The apartment is much smaller than shown in the pictures. I never would have paid as much, had I known what it was.
The owner is a stickler. On checkout, even after being there for 30 days, I expected to check out at 11AM, and he shows up at 9:30. “Get out,” he says. I asked - “please give me an hour,” not realizing a 9am checkout. “You don’t have it. Get out in 30 minutes”. He was rather rude? And throughout the stay, he had been rather rude even though I am a customer paying $260 per night.
