good hotel, across railroad
well located hotel with easy access and a supermarket next to it.
staffs: great and friendly staffs, helpful front manager.
room: we got a corner room, small bedroom, big bathroom. all clean and comfy
breakfast: great variety of breakfast, taste was ok, 2 or 3 coffee machines available. great Hot chocolate.

This hotel really need some room for improvement. Our room lacked basic amenities like toothbrush and bottled drinking water, and the bath towels were old, stained, and even had holes… Would expect cleanliness and upkeep to be better for the price paid.. Furthermore, the staff at the breakfast buffet were unfriendly, unapproachable and seemed irritated both mornings we were there.
On the positive note, the breakfast buffet had a nice variety, and the hotel’s location is relatively convenient, about a 10 min train ride from Zurich HB.
Overall, it wasn’t the experience we expected, and we won’t be returning. For the price paid, it didn’t match the service and amenities level. We can pay the same price for other hotels.

Hotel was rather disappointing for a 4* hotel
Rooms clean, rather smallish, no chair
There was a desk which just takes space, too small for a laptop ..so not really clear why in the room
Service in the spa is disappointing. Mentioned 2h before the spa closed to the staff that there is not hot water in the urn, no fruits in the fruit bowl... The answer was simply that there will be tomorrow
Long queue to check in and only one staff member on call

I regularly stay at this hotel as it is a convenient walk to work and great links to Central Zurich- only 2 stops on the train. The staff are friendly and the rooms are modern, comfortable and clean.

Well located for Altstetten station with regular trains, trams & buses. The train takes just a few minutes to get to Hauptbahnhof.
Modern hotel with good bright, well designed rooms.
During my stay the reception was being refurbished but all the staff, including the restaurant staff, were efficient, humourous & friendly.
I would suggest bigger, thicker towels for a 4-star hotel. The ones I had were small & thin.
