Avoid if you want a shower, to talk to someone and to eat a meal!!

There is no way to control the temperature, the shower is so hot it's scalding. They obviously know about it as there is a sign warning water water is VERY hot
Unable to get hold of anyone via the phone - I tried all extensions and it was only 9:30pm
Their chat bot couldn't help me and the maintenance request seemed to disappear into the ether.
It took me 10 attempts to order dinner as every meal I picked they had run out (it was 8pm)
A shame as the room was clean and bed was comfortable. I won't be back.
Smelly, hungry and unable to get help as I was undressed with shampoo in my hair and didn't fancy walking down to the busy bar in a towel
Incase you're wondering I washed my hair in the sink and had a strip wash!!

First and foremost, I’d like to sincerely apologise for the issues you encountered during your stay. What you described is certainly not the experience we want our guests to have, and I completely understand your frustration — especially when you were unable to get the help you needed in the moment.
We would absolutely have moved you to another room immediately had we been made aware, and I’m genuinely sorry that wasn’t possible for you at the time. I understand how difficult it must have been, particularly with no safe way to adjust the shower temperature. We have placed warning signs while we work on a longer-term solution, and I’ve flagged this with our maintenance team as a priority.
Regarding the food options — you're right, this shouldn’t happen. Unfortunately, we experienced an unexpected issue in the kitchen that evening which impacted availability more than usual. That said, we should have communicated that better and offered suitable alternatives more quickly.
We’re also reviewing our internal communication processes to ensure that our guests can always reach someone promptly — whether by phone, chatbot, or at reception.
While I’m pleased to hear you found the room clean and the bed comfortable, I know that doesn’t make up for the rest of your experience. I’m truly sorry we let you down and hope you might reconsider in the future so we can provide the stay you should have had.
