The facility met our needs for a place to sleep for the night.
Beds were comfortable and sheets and pillowcases were clean.
Long story short, I would stay there again.
Rest of the story;
There is a room fridge tho not very cold.
The HVAC system blows across the head of the beds leading to dry mouth and dry eyes.
There were some stains on the base of a bed and in a few places on the wall. And the ceiling above one bed has an awful patch job. The ceiling above the shower had a really bad spot.
We didn’t get to try the waffles as there was some state high school competition in town so there were quite a few kids waiting to have waffles.

The pictures do not match the quality of the rooms. Bathroom was extremely tight. Only thing is that it’s close to campus. I guess I get what I pay for

Stayed to drop my daughter off at school. The staff was very kind and responsive. We were in a bit of a hurry,, and i neglected to put on my jewelry. I had left it on a ledge. They found my rings, and immediately called me to tell me so. We weren't even out of the Ames area yet so it was easy to head back to get them. I've always liked this hotel but this has solidified my loyalty!

The cleanliness of the room left a lot to be desired - the linens had questionable stains, there was mold growing in the bathroom, the floors were gross, and there were stains on the walls. The window also had mold growing in it. The overall room just had a very dated feel to it, which is fine, but it definitely needs a lot of love to get the room clean. The service was fantastic, check in and check out was seamless which is just too bad that the room was so unclean and unpresentable.
